Products & Materials
Primarily Canadian hardwoods — maple, cherry, and walnut — but we occasionally work with acacia, bamboo, or other responsibly sourced woods depending on design and availability.
No two boards are identical. Natural variations in grain, colour, and texture are expected and part of the product’s character.
A live edge preserves the natural contour of the tree. It adds character and can include small voids or texture variations.
We sand and finish carefully, but wood is a natural material. Minor roughness or a small splinter—especially on live edges—can occur. Inspect on arrival and handle with care.
Food Safety & Care
Yes. We finish with food-safe oil/wax. Wash by hand, dry promptly, and re-oil as needed.
Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Do not soak or put in a dishwasher. Re-oil regularly with a board oil or our board butter.
Light cutting is fine, but repeated knife use will mark the surface over time. Many customers use the non-engraved side for cutting and the engraved side for serving.
Personalization & Custom Orders
Yes. Many items offer personalization options. For custom logos, vector artwork (SVG/AI/PDF) yields the best results.
For photo-style engravings, high-resolution images with clear contrast work best. We may suggest edits for clarity.

Most items ship in 5–7 business days. Custom or engraved orders may require 10–14 days before dispatch.
Canada Post and courier partners, with tracking on dispatch.

Orders, Returns & Refunds
Contact us as soon as possible. Once production begins (especially for personalization), changes may not be possible.
Unengraved, unused items may be returned within 14 days; customer pays return shipping. Custom/personalized items are final sale. See our Refund & Return Policy for full details.
Email photos and your order number within 48 hours so we can assist with a replacement or claim.
Safety & Disclaimer
Yes. Wood can change with environment and use. Handle live edges with care, supervise around children, and inspect surfaces periodically.
