Great North Gear — Return & Refund Policy
Personalized & Custom Items (Final Sale)
All personalized or custom-engraved products are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded.
This includes any item with custom text, names, dates, artwork, layout changes, or special engraving requests.
If the engraving is incorrect due to our error, or if your item arrives damaged, we will replace it at no cost. Please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the issue.
Non-Personalized Items (14-Day Return Window)
Non-custom items may be returned within 14 days of delivery.
To be eligible, the item must be:
- Unused
- In original condition
- In original packaging
- Accompanied by proof of purchase
Once we receive and inspect the item, we will notify you if the refund is approved.
Product Disclaimer
Each Great North Gear piece is handcrafted from real Canadian hardwood. Natural variations in grain, colour, texture, knots, or live-edge edges are expected and are not considered defects. Minor roughness or natural splintering on live-edge surfaces is normal.
By purchasing, you acknowledge and accept these natural characteristics. Our liability is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the product price, at our discretion, in cases of genuine defects or damage.
Shipping Costs
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping.
- If the return is due to our error (wrong item, damaged item), we will cover replacement shipping.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, email us at greatnorthgear1@gmail.com within 7 days with photos. We’ll resolve it quickly.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. For exchange requests, please contact us at the email above.
